The Swift Fly Fishing Company is owned and run by On the Fly Productions (the Film & DVD People that make the fly fishing films like "Once in a Blue Moon", "Itu's Bones" and "Casts that Catch Fish")
New Zealand is our home, but we've been adventuring, diving, hiking and fishing for a while now, more than 30 years in-fact. From Antarctica to Key West, the Aleutian Islands to the Cook Islands and most places in-between.
During our travels we've come to learn and appreciate the value of top quality gear - and that's what we produce and sell. Simple.
We've taken this experience and sourced or developed what we believe are the absolute best products in their class, to do so we've teamed up with some very clever engineers, designers and manufacturers. Swift gear is designed and developed by the people at the pointy end - not marketers, accountants and sales managers. (Ok, we think those people are important too - we just don't let them get involved in the design process)
So there you have it. On the Fly makes fly fishing media. Swift makes and sells fly fishing equipment.
